
Francois Collet joined Vallis in October 2020 as Business Development Manager. His role is to assist in ensuring the successful the entry of Vallis into the Aid sector with management of sales and marketing .and to identify new leads and potential new markets for Vallis’s services.
Francois previously worked with Sightsavers, an NGO treat and prevent avoidable blindness, and promote equality for people with visual impairments and other disabilities as Head of Supply Chain and Transformation lead for West Central and East Africa.
He also worked for 14 years with Crown Agents as Procurement consultant managing a wide range of different programmes funded by World Bank, DFID, African Development Bank and Japanese Aid.
He has experience in Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Haiti, Nepal and the Palestinian territories.
During his work with Crown Agents and Mazars he was a Business Development Manager where he secured the 2016-Debt Management contracts for South Sudan and Somalia funded by African Development Bank.
With Mazars he worked to secure a contract award from World Bank on “ASSAM INLANDS WATERWAYS SECTOR STUDY on Gender and Trade in Assam, India” (“the project”) in cooperation with ARS Progetti Spa.
He lives in Epsom, has family in France near Perpignan and Paris. In his spare time, he spends time with his family, has interest in Rugby, Rootball, Boxing, African politics, Culture and Gastronomy.
