New Subsidiary – Vallis Trade Assurance Services (VTAS)

I am pleased to announce that Vallis has established a new subsidiary company called Vallis Trade Assurance Services (VTAS).

VTAS provides a wide range of logistics services to companies working in commodity trading across Africa and the Middle East, including:

• Marine and Cargo Services – using our own staff: vessel discharge and loading supervision, cargo tally verification, bagging services, sampling and analysis and draft surveys. Services are reported on in real-time using an online platform.

• Asset Recovery Services – identifying and verifying cargoes, establishing salvageable quantities, preparing goods for resale and locating buyers to help liquidate assets and maximize returns.
• Audits – independent, third-party counting of stock, checking of stock quality and the condition of storage facilities. We also review operational procedures and systems. Audits are conducted to ISO 9001 standards.
• Research – providing bespoke detailed research reports on African and Middle Eastern markets, commodity flows, service suppliers and regulatory information.
