Steve Carr joined Vallis as Commercial Manager, bringing nearly two decades of expertise in inspections and business development across Latin America, Africa and Central Asia. Currently based in the UK, Steve has lived and worked in Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Azerbaijan and the USA.
Steve holds a degree in Spanish from the University of Portsmouth and a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Marketing from the University of Staffordshire. He speaks fluent Spanish and will initially focus on growing our business in Latin America.
Steve began his professional journey at Intertek in Mexico City before relocating to the UK and then on to Azerbaijan. He later joined Crown Agents Limited as Global Business Development Manager until August 2024, further solidifying his expertise in global operations and client relations.
Steve has specific experience in establishing major operations abroad from scratch, as well as managing major accounts with clients such as BP, Exxon, UNICEF and UNOPS among others. He has managed multi-country operations and looks forward to expanding the Vallis footprint both in Latin America and further afield.
