Tony was born in Kwekwe, and grew up in Zimbabwe. When finishing school he worked as a tractor mechanic before moving to work in the pumps and irrigation industry. In 2006, Tony started his career in petroleum products operations and management with Sasfuel & Chem in Beit Bridge, Zimbabwe. The following year he relocated to the DRC with Sasfuel, where he managed a terminal supplying petroleum products to a large copper mine. Tony joined Vallis in 2012 as one of the fuel operations managers. He has since managed Vallis fuel operations in Kenya, Tanzania and Liberia.
