Zeb Baker-Smith

Born in London, Zeb finished an MA in Classics, with some English and Comparative Literature sprinkled in, at the University of St Andrews in 2019. Moving to the West Country as a teenager, Zeb takes his newfound identity very seriously. He enjoys driving and walking through the Mendips, in search of the best views, food and drink that Somerset has to offer.

Ever fond of a working holiday, Zeb has lived abroad and taught for a year in both Melbourne and Japan on the slopes of Mt Fuji. He joined Vallis in June 2021 and is keen to immerse himself in all things Africa. Outside of work, Zeb takes great pleasure in walking the dog, slowly plodding on with his Japanese, playing the organ, and making up the numbers in village cricket.
