Hamid served as Team Leader under the United Nations at Umm Qasr, a vital and strategic port in Iraq to ensure compliance after the Gulf war.
He went on to begin inspection operations to Dubai. Here he and his team inspected cargo from various international suppliers and also conducted “on –sea” inspections. For the last 9 years, Hamid has been living in South Africa conducting pre-shipment inspections.
Hamid has worked in over 45 countries and brings a wealth of inspection expertise to Vallis.
His spare time is spent enjoying football and following Formula 1.
