Having contributed to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Report 2018, Vallis received an invitation to a VIP reception at the House of Lords (the upper house of the UK Parliament) hosted by the Right Honourable Lord Howell of Guildford. Our representative at the event was Ceris Turner-Bailes from the head office.
Lord Howell gave a brief address where he emphasized the importance of Britain’s trade links to the Commonwealth and our close bond with the 53 nations represented at the meeting.
Attending the event were a number of Commonwealth delegations, businesses, academic institutions, and chapters of the Royal Commonwealth Society from all over the world.
Over the last few months, Vallis has been developing further its commercial offering, focusing on expanding its client base in the Aid and International Development sectors.
Vallis operates in 14 Commonwealth countries, and as such, the opportunity to further build relations in this sphere was a real privilege.
