Cotton
Cotton is a fibre that grows around the seeds of the cotton plant. It is used to make a soft, breathable textile and is the most widely used natural fibre in the global clothing industry.
Vallis has managed over 190,000 tonnes of cotton commodities since 2006. A large proportion of this cotton has either been handled in Mozambique or as seed in Zimbabwe.
Vallis has been involved in the full process of cotton ginning from the receipt of raw cotton, through the ginning process, to the bales of lint ready for export.
