Vallis Compliance with TIC Council Code of Practice
Vallis has applied for membership with the TIC Council. The requirements of membership are laid down in the TIC Council Compliance Code (First Edition).
Vallis meets the requirements of membership through following the TIC Council Guidelines on Implementation (Edition 1) and implements them through its own company compliance scheme that we have called Procedures for Integrity, Trust and Transparency (PITT).
Vallis PITT is complementary to our ISO 9001 certification and other company policies, procedures and processes.
To protect our business and our employees, PITT sets out the principles and rules that govern our business conduct.
The 7 principles that govern Vallis PITT and which reflect the TIC Council principles are:
Integrity is fundamental to the Vallis mission statement and our values of Integrity, Trust and Transparency. We operate in a professional, honest, independent and impartial manner in all our activities.
2. Conflict of Interest
Vallis actively avoids conflicts of interest with any related entity or party in which it has a financial or commercial interest and to which it is required to provide services. Vallis avoids conflicts of interest within the group where different internal entities may be providing services to either the same client or each other.
3. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Vallis respects the confidentiality and privacy of client’s and employee’s information and ensures processes are in place to protect such information.
Vallis does not tolerate or engage in bribery or corruption in any form anywhere. Vallis employees are required to comply with the company’s anti-corruption and bribery policy at all times.
5. Fair Business Conduct
Vallis is committed to acting and competing in a fair and open manner in all its business dealings. Vallis conducts itself to the highest standards of business ethics and integrity and does not do anything that would bring its reputation, or that of the TIC Council, into disrepute.
6. Health and Safety
Vallis is fully committed to the implementation of measures to ensure the health and safety of employees, clients, and third parties.
7. Fair Labour
Vallis is aware of its social responsibilities for its employees and the people, communities, and environments in which it works and has implemented a fair labour policy, which Vallis upholds.
