Charles Ndiaye

Charles was born and raised in Dakar, Senegal, where he studied Economics at Cheikh Anta Diop University. After completing a Master's degree specialising in Money, Banking and Finance, he joined Vallis in January 2018 as a Warehouse Assistant within the Fuel Team.

Following several months working at fuel depots, Charles moved to the Dakar office to take on the role of Operations Reporting Assistant. Alongside his reporting responsibilities, he provided operational support on the ground to both the M&C and SMA teams whenever required.

In September 2021, Charles travelled to Guinea-Bissau for the first time to support the local team during the peak cashew nut season. Since then, he has returned on several occasions, either to assist during the busy trading period or to provide cover for the Country Supervisor during periods of leave.

Charles has also undertaken assignments in The Gambia, overseeing the inspection and control of medical equipment and in Mali, where he served as Operational Coordinator for SMA operations.

Drawing on his experience across Guinea-Bissau, The Gambia and Mali, Charles was appointed Reporting & Operations Administrator in February 2025. In July 2026, he was promoted to Country Supervisor for Guinea-Bissau, where he continues to support and oversee Vallis' operations in the country.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, watching football and films and expressing his creativity through drawing.
