Mame Thierno Birahim Pouye was born on 9th June 1986 in Pikine Guinaw rails. At the age of 9, he left the suburbs of Dakar to pursue his primary education in Kaolack alongside his father. Ten years later, he returned to Dakar to Seydina Limamou Laye technical high school before working in the retail industry for almost 4 years. In September 2009, he joined the port of Dakar with CECOMI, whilst also working as a tally for other companies. Mame Thierno joined Vallis in March 2013 and was promoted to Assistant Supervisor 5 months later. In 2017 he was promoted to warehouse manager before leaving for Mauritania, Morocco and then Guinea Bissau where he is now the Country Supervisor.
Mame Thierno is married and a father to two children. In his spare time, he likes to read the books of Serigne Touba, play with his children and watch football.
