Greg was born in the Northwest of England, but grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. He returned to the UK to complete a bachelor’s degree in economics and international relations at the University of Sussex before beginning his career in the commodities industry back in Geneva in 2011. Greg has over 8 years’ experience providing risk management, operational support, analysis, and reporting for a wide range of refined petroleum products across various trading activities for several oil trading houses.
With his wife and two young children, Greg traded the Swiss alpine ski slopes for Somerset’s Mendip Hills to be nearer his wife’s family and joined Vallis in 2023 as Operations and Reporting Manager covering the Marine Surveying and Vessel Cargo Inspection desk in West Africa as well as Quality Assurance and Quantity Inspection Services.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys travelling and a wide range of sports including football, skiing, cycling and tennis. He also has an interest in property development and holds a master’s in real estate finance and investment from UWE Bristol.
