Somalia, officially the Federal Republic of Somalia, is a sovereign state with its territory located in the Horn of Africa. It shares its borders with Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, the Gulf of Aden and the Guardafui Channel.
In addition to civil conflict, Somalia has been devastated by drought and famine, putting added strain on the countries resources.
The only industries that exist in Somalia are fish and meat canneries, mild processing plants, leather tanning factories and electrical and pharmaceutical factories.
