Vallis Commodities Limited (Vallis) recently conducted an audit to determine quantities of stockpiled mineral products for one of South Africa’s major banks in various locations around the country.
The audit used real-time GPS survey systems, capturing data for each of the stockpiles. From the GPS data, 3D models and volumetric calculations were generated to determine final tonnages of each product.
