West Africa accounts for around 70% of global cocoa output, making it the most important cocoa growing region in the world.

With over 450,000 tonnes of cocoa handled since 2006, Vallis has managed cocoa product operations in Togo, Cameroon, Uganda and Nigeria.

In 2012, Cameroon was Africa’s 4th largest grower of cocoa and was predicted to overtake Nigeria as the third largest producer.
